Braunvieh and Short Horn Cows and Steers
We raise this kind of cattle because of the ease of their birthing, and the production of their milk. They never have steroids or hormones, or antibiotics. They are grass fed, no corn, no silage.
Sometimes We do have hamburger that has been processed by a local processing company for sale. It just depends on how our family is set on meat.
The lighter tannish cows are the Braunvieh cows.
The tannish with white face is the short horn, Braunvieh cross.
We did have a surprise black baldie calf that showed up after we banded the bull, but not in time before he had to make one baby calf.
